Abdominal massage

What does abdominal massage involve?

During an abdominal massage, the abdomen and abdominal organs are massaged. Thousands of years ago, various cultures, including the Taoists and the Siberians, discovered that people often develop energy blocks in their organs. These blocks manifest themselves in the form of knots, hardened patches and obstructions and constrict the flow of energy, our life force. The organs cannot do their job optimally, as a result of this there is agitation, pain or fatigue.

Unprocessed emotions such as fear, anger and depression cause the most damage. But problems can also be caused by stress, medication, toxins, surgery and bad posture.
Our abdominal organs digest not only our food, but also our emotions and thoughts. Sometimes it is not possible to process emotions and they remain stuck in the stomach. Abdominal massage is a direct way to release blockages in the organs, connective tissue and lymph.

The session

A session lasts about 60-90 minutes and starts with a short intake and question about your complaint or question. Then the massage takes place (where most people fall asleep!) and after that there is an integration moment, during which you can lie comfortably on the table. Sometimes I will return what I encountered during the massage; emotions, images or other information. Another time a session calls for integration without us talking about it.
